New Frontiers in Interventional Endoscopy

Endoscopy has revolutionised gastroenterology and surgical specialties, offering clinicians unprecedented access to the inner workings of the GI tract. From diagnosis to treatment, endoscopic techniques play a pivotal role in managing a wide range of GI disorders, spanning from the esophagus to the colon. This masterclass aims to provide a comprehensive overview of gastrointestinal endoscopy covering both the fundamental principles and advanced techniques in managing gastrointestinal disorders

From the basics of upper and lower GI endoscopy to the nuances of advanced procedures such as endoscopic mucosal resection and endoscopic ultrasound, participants will gain insights into th latest advances in gastrointestinal and surgical endoscopy. This masterclass offers a platform for continued learning, skill enhancement, and professional growth.

The course is designed for gastroenterologists, trainees, surgeons and endoscopy related personnel. The course consists of mini-lectures given by our world renowned international speakers as well as local experts from across Aotearoa New Zealand.

This inaugural event takes place in conjunction with the New Zealand Society of Gastroenterology Annual Scientific Meeting on the 27-29th November.
